Care Assistants with Experience in Social Work for Kallebäck

About the Position

We are currently looking for care assistants who want to work on a part-time basis at our residence Kallebäck.

Here we provide support and care services to individuals with extensive substance abuse problems, aiming to reduce the negative consequences of addiction and enhance quality of life.

The target group consists of men and women aged approximately 50 and above. The work is based on a salutogenic approach, focusing on strengthening the individual's sense of coherence, meaningfulness, and participation in their daily life.

Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant at Kallebäck, you will work with:

• Support and care services based on individual needs.
• Motivational and support work to increase individual responsibility and participation.
• Planning, documentation, and follow-up of implementation plans.
• Contributing to safety, comfort, a sense of home, and social community for the residents.
• Collaboration with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and other occupational groups within the organization.

The work is conducted within the framework of case management, where you play a key role in building trusting relationships and motivating change.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained care assistant, support assistant, or has another healthcare or social care education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Has experience in social work, preferably with individuals who have substance abuse and/or mental health issues.
• Has a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as communication and documentation are central parts of the job. Approved grades in Swedish A or SAS basic must be presented.
• Has a positive view of people, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust in interactions with others.
• Is independent, proactive, and organized, but also flexible when the work situation requires it.
